Beirut Events
For the past few days, we have been exploring the concept "events". I have recently read about Beirut International Film Festival that started on October 6th and will end on October 13th in Empire Sofil, Beirut. I cretainly classify it as an event for the importance it has on the local and global community. Have you read about or watch any events that will take place in the region in the near future? What do you think about it?

ReplyDeleteI would like you, my students, to share your readings about events. In addition, why don't you chat talkking about recent events in the local and global community? Regarding having a field trip attending an event, I am planning for one, but I am still searching for a suitable one. Have you visited the link I added on the links?

ReplyDeletebiuret:A literary festival in Beirut has showcased some of what it says is the most exciting new writing in the Arab world, and aims to introduce its writers to a global audience.
ReplyDeleteThe Beirut 39 festival, held in the Lebanese capital, brought together 39 specially selected writers of Arab heritage, all under the age of 39.
The writers appeared at public debates, readings and discussions, and all 39 have had their work included in an anthology, called "Beirut 39: New Writing from the Arab World," published simultaneously in English and Arabic.
Do you know:
ReplyDeleteI90% understood for what she\he wrote.
Plus, that gave me and idea about organized events.
Lets say i am talking about the mendial. Every 4 years it happens. That stays the same. But the thing that differ are the ideas of the mendial.
I 2014 the mendial will be organized in Brazil right!!
Maybe they will make new ideas of the cheering things also the soccer place. The seats might differ. That includes the mendial in 2018. So the events must'nt be the same, or the people will get bored and never want to come to the mendial again. Do you get the point.
We as grade 5 "B" had a new idea which made our 2 events really organized and lots of people including teachers loved te event.
